What Is Peace?

Looking at the world today it is hard to find peace anywhere. The news doesn’t offer much hope for peace. How do we find peace?

In Romans 5:1, we find peace with God through our faith in Jesus.  Why do we have peace with God?

Jesus tore the wall of the Law down when He dies on the cross. When He rose we, who believe in Him were no longer considered enemies with God.

The thing is He didn’t promise us a life of peace while we are on earth. He did bring us peace with God. We are now God’s adopted children and can come to Him about anything, without the fear of His wrath. This is the peace we have, in John 16:33, because Jesus has overcome this world.
