It is so hard to walk through this world and not get stuck in the muck and mire of it. We can let our emotions lead us into where we shouldn’t be. So how when emotions all around us are running rampant do we protect ourselves.
Jesus knew that while we are not of this world we have to still walk through this world. He has warned us that we will not be welcomed in this world yet, He asked the Father to leave us in this world. Why? We are His ambassadors of love and truth.
In order to be an ambassador, we need to be in the Word of God so that we know the Truth of who He is and can represent Him to a world that is full of anger and hate.
As we walk through this world we need to be agents of love. No matter how the other person acts we need to give them grace so we can show His love to them. By opening the door for strangers to paying for someone’s coffee. Love will win more people than words.
Remember what Jesus commanded us in John 15:12-13,
This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.
Even if you feel you are right, it is love that will win them over.
Jesus wants us to stay in the Truth and show His love in order to walk through this world.
