This week we will look at what faith is and where it comes from. Next week, we will look at the Hall of Faith in Hebrews 11. Not all of those will get looked at but the ones we look at are interesting.
The Greek word pístis means; moral conviction (of religious truth, or the truthfulness of God or a religious teacher), especially reliance upon Christ for salvation; abstractly, constancy in such profession; by extension, the system of religious (Gospel) truth itself:—assurance, belief, believe, faith, fidelity.
On Sunday take the time to review the verses.
