Being steady is the key to destroying worry. Jesus told us in Matthew 6:33, that when we are focused on the Kingdom of God what we tend to worry about will be taken care of. Being focus is steady in action. As we steady our thoughts on what God’s plan is for our lives then we have no room to give in to worry.
Fridays, are Five Minute Fridays. Take the time to write for 5 minutes on the given word. This week the word is steady. This is a great way to start writing. A small yet daring step. Here is the link to follow if you want to join:
So glad to be writing beside you in the Five Minute Friday group, Bonnie! I was just telling a friend the other day how I pray so often but sometimes without realizing it I keep worries in my heart somewhere. Thank you for this. Blessings, Julie

I am glad you introduce me to Five Minute Friday. I have the same problem and have learned so much on this week’s writing.

I love how you tied the theme to worrying. That is SO true! I’m your neighbor at FMF this week 🙂
