Cats sleep anywhere they want. Dameron will open kitchen cabinets to sleep in them. When I was packing for a trip, I had to take care of the laundry, when I came back someone decided the open suitcase was the purrfect spot for a nap.
I have a friend who before making a big decision on something she will pray and sleep on the matter. I long to learn from her example. Many times I forget. Psalm 16:7-8, is a great reminder as to making this an important practice to one’s life.
I bless the Lord who gives me counsel;
in the night also my heart instructs me.
I have set the Lord always before me;
because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken.
If you have ever had a dream that you felt like God was talking to you about something, pay attention to it. There are several people throughout the Bible that had dreams God was instructing them in. I usually get something to write in my sleep. Yet, when my heart was heavy and trouble, I have prayed before going to bed about the situation and woke up knowing what to do.
When we purposely set the Lord as our GPS, we have the peace knowing that where He leads us He is always there as our support. With Him leading and instructing us we have nothing to fear.
