Five Minute Friday #Speak

In a world where no matter what you say someone will take offense to it, where free speech is only if those who hate free speech agrees with what you say, there is one example we need to follow. Jesus knew when to speak and when to be silent. He was and is the most controversial person to walk this earth. Yet, most of the time His words were with love and grace. We need to follow His example knowing when to speak and what to say. Above all, we need to speak the Truth in love and grace.

Fridays, are Five Minute Fridays. Take the time to write for 5 minutes on the given word. This week the word is – Speak. This is a great way to start writing. A small yet daring step. Here is the link to follow if you want to join: Five Minute Friday – Speak

  1. I love you words, short and to the point and so true. How often I need to be reminded to speak the truth in love and to follow the example of Christ Himself in my speech. Dropping by today from Five Minute Friday. Thanks for sharing.

  2. Isn’t it amazing – if not so discouraging/sad – that no matter what we say…someone takes offense. And yes it does take wisdom to know when to speak and, when we do, to speak with grace and truth together. For sure!
