That time when you get up in the middle of the night and you trip over something that you knew was there but in the dark you were lost as to were it was. Sin can be like that. As we walk through this world of darkness we know what sin is and how to avoid it BUT… What happens when we take our eyes off of the Light? We stumble and fall in the darkness.
When we are out there in this dark world it is easy to get tripped up in what is going on. We find ourselves ensnared by all the different crisis, outrage, disasters… that we are no longer sharing the light that is within us because we are too wrapped up in the darkness. Sometimes we even start to act as if we are a part of the darkness.
There is a Light which shines to light the way in this darkness. As long as we stayed focused on that Light we will not stumble or fall. This Light will illuminate our path. So, just keep in the Light of His Word and let the Light shine through you.
