Dogs, Dawn, Dragonflies, Deers, and Dates
Living in Southern Californa growing up we would stop in Indio on our way to Arizona to get date shakes. Those are the best shakes ever. I love dates in just about anything or by themselves. One of my favorite Christmas cookies my mom would make are a date filled pinwheel. On Palm Sunday the palm branches that the people waved as Jesus entered Jerusalem were from the date palm trees. Check out what Psalm 92: 12-13 says; “The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree,
He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
Those who are planted in the house of the Lord
Shall flourish in the courts of our God.”
