Flowers, Figs, Fireplace, French Toast, and Fruit

I think my favorite fruit is passionfruit or is it strawberries maybe grapefruit…. There are too many choices to choose from. However, the Fruit of the Spirit found in Galatians 5:22-23; “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things, there is no law.” is the hardest fruit to grow. Why? Because it requires us to surrender our will to the leading of the Holy Spirit. There is no way under our own power could we grow in these in our own lives. The benefit of this fruit is there is no law that hinders it from being used in our lives. Like all fruit, as it matures it is used to the benefit of someone else. Wait a minute, you might think that it is for your benefit to be that spiritual that you have all of these fruits. Think again. When these fruits are mature they are seen in our actions, how we deal with others and situations. They are a witness to the Spirit at work in our lives.
