Nuts, Names, Nest, Nature, and Nose

Without a nose, we couldn’t smell cookies fresh from the oven, coffee just brewed, a rose…. Although there are times that we wish we didn’t have a nose so that we wouldn’t have to smell a dirty diaper, soured milk, trash on a hot summer day….  Our actions and thoughts are like that to God. When we sin we stink like rotting trash. However, Ephesians 5:2, says, “ And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” I would rather be a fragrant offering in God’s nose than a smelly dirty diaper.
