Distressed

Distressed. Deflated. Emotionally. Physically.

Left, wondering, “God. Where are you in all of this?”

When we are going through times like these God is still right where He was. It is us that where the problem lies. We have drifted away from or anchor in Him. Floating along, drifting away and soon we run out of the air that was carrying us away and start to sink. As we sink we get beaten up and ran over by the things of this world. We feel used, discarded, dirty, and can barely hold our head up.

We look around and all that we see is the ugliness of life without God around. Why did He leave? Doesn’t He know we need Him?

He is right there waiting for you to turn back to Him. He is waiting for you to get rid of the pride that caused you to do things on your own strength instead of His. He is waiting for you to see that you need Him, not the other way around. He is waiting for you to turn to Him to clean you up and fill you once more with His love and life so you can fly again above the filth and distractions of this world.

Through His forgiveness, you can be made new.
