Jeremiah 24 Study Guide

This week chapter 24 is short. There is a principle we see throughout the Bible of separating the good from the bad. Jesus taught many parables about this, we will look at those too.

Monday — Jeremiah 24 talks about two baskets. What were they filled with? What did they represent? Make a list of those who are in good figs and those in the bad figs. What will each of their final outcomes?

Tuesday — There are two type of people Jesus talks about in Matthew 7:24-27. Make a list for each one. What did they have in common? What were the differences? Write “Good Fig” next to the good one and “Bad Fig” next to the bad list.

Wednesday — The Parable of the Talents, in Matthew 25:14-30, is another place we see this same type of separation. Make lists of each person. Mark each person by the type of fig they are.

Thursday — Make a list of the ten virgins found in Matthew 25:1-13. Mark each list with the correct fig type.

Friday — Once again in Matthew 25 there is another list. What are the two animals does Jesus compare us to? Make a list of the type of people in each group. Mark each list with the appropriate fig.

Saturday — Today look at the lists and make a summary as to the “Good Fig” list and the “Bad Fig” . Have you ever run into someone that would be on the “Bad Fig” list.
