This chapter contains a coffee cup verse. I know a lot of people claim it as their life verse. Let’s examine it this week in context to the rest of the church.
Monday — What did God do in verse 4?
Tuesday — What did God charge them to do while in captivity in Babylon, verses 5-9?
Wednesday — How long will God leave them in captivity? Why would He leave them there? What must they do before He brings them out? His plans are for good what good for them to be in captivity for that long? What was the hope that was given?
Thursday — What does the New Testament say about hearing God?
John 1:27, Romans 10:17, John 16:13, Luke 11:28, Hebrews 4:12
Friday — What does the following Old Testament verses say about hearing God? Psalms 32:8-9, Jeremiah 33:3, Isaiah 30:21
Saturday — In Jeremiah 29:15-32, God states what the people did to cause the exile. What was it?
