In 1 Corinthians 13:13, we see there is a connection between faith, hope, and love. This week we are looking at the connection between hope and faith.
We are not called to have blind faith. Instead, faith is the evidence of things not seen. Let’s look at something that can’t be seen, something like air. You can’t see it, generally can’t smell it yet you have faith that it will be there when you take your next breath. Though you can’t see wind, it is evidence that there is air because you can feel it move against your skin and see it move trees and other stuff around.
So is our faith in God it is due to what we have heard and experience about God. We can’t see Him but have a book written about Him and full of eyewitness accounts of what He has done in their lives. But it doesn’t stop there. You can talk to any Christian and find out what God has done in their life.
