The Keys of Faith

There are so many keys that open door, locks, start a car engine… Without the right key we get locked out.

Some people have a key verse that they base their life on. There are key principles in life everyone should follow. Like don’t drink from the milk carton. Or wash your hands after going to the bathroom.

This week we are going to look at some of the keys that are important to faith. What they are and how they work.

First let’s look at what faith is. The Greek word for faith is pistis defined in Strongs as — persuasion, i.e. credence; moral conviction (of religious truth, or the truthfulness of God or a religious teacher), especially reliance upon Christ for salvation; abstractly, constancy in such profession; by extension, the system of religious (Gospel) truth itself:—assurance, belief, believe, faith, fidelity.

This is the faith Jesus saw in many people which caused Him to heal them. Stephen was full of faith. Faith purifies the heart. Grace comes obedience to faith. The Law of Faith keeps us from boasting, because we are justified by faith.

This week identify the keys and how can you apply them to your life.
