It’s me. When I use the senses that I have to take in this world things are not good. I see anger and destruction. I hear hate, anger and selfishness all around me. There no longer is any warmth in man’s touch. My emotions run rampant causing me to stress out at what is going on. All this leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.
But LORD, are the One that can heal all of this. As it says in Psalm 119:34;
Give me understanding, so that I may keep your law
and obey it with all my heart.
By doing so You will guide me in the way You want me to go. My mind will know Your truth and I will see thing with Your eyes. You will have my emotions in control as I surrender my heart to Your will. No longer is my focus on myself and my desires, but on Your will and plan for me. As I draw closer to You may I reach those that are hurting with Your love.
