This week we start out with a call to stay close to our First Love with God, by keeping the relationship with Him like it was when we first came to Him. One way to keep the relationship with Him close besides being in the Bible daily, is to keep a journal of things He has done in your life. You can then look back to remember when you are going through a trial.
It is when we decide that we know better than God and take things in our own hands turning our back on God’s wisdom and His way we can expect a trial to come and things to go wrong. God will gently start disciplining us to come back, it is when we keep on going the discipline becomes more server.
Keep close to you First Love and put nothing before Him. Whole fast to His Word and don’t let your understanding lead you away from His wisdom and path for your life.
